About Skyzz

Skyzz is a pop singer-songwriter from the culturally rich country of Belize. He found his passion for music at a young age, playing the drums and demonstrating a level of infectious showmanship that continues to this day. With little more than a pair of drumsticks, Skyzz moved to Canada alone at the age of 17 to pursue his career in music. His music is often inspired by Reggaeton, R&B, and Alternative Rock, but the biggest inspiration will always come from his Belizean foundation.

Skyzz takes pride in writing his own lyrics, using his personal experience to etch his mark in every song. His music is a reminder that you are not alone and that there is always hope for a better future through optimism and healing. His personality is reflected in his songs showing his infectious persistence and his true passion for his craft and the people around him.

The sky is truly the limit for Skyzz. In 2017 he won Manitoba’s CJ107’s title of Most Talented Performer. Now furthering his music career in Toronto, Skyzz’ first collaboration with MellyQueen won the hearts of the Latin community in the summer of 2021 with their salacious summer hit “Lento Y Pegadito”.

In late 2022, Skyzz partnered with RBC to put on one of the most spectacular concerts at the legendary Don on Danforth to celebrate his most anticipated “Skyzz EP”
